Charles Mok is the founder and director of Tech for Good Asia Limited, a regional initiative to bring the communities and businesses closer together by harnessing the positive powers of cyber-technologies, while actively confronting the issues brought on by the digital revolution.

Charles was a Legislative Councillor representing the Information Technology Functional Constituency in Hong Kong from 2012 to 2020. He was the Honorary President of the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation and the Founding Chairman of the Internet Society Hong Kong.

Professionally, Charles has served the ICT industry for over 30 years, both in multinationals and startups, in Hong Kong as well as the United States. He co-founded HKNet in 1994, one of the earliest Internet service providers in Hong Kong, subsequently acquired by NTT Communications of Japan in 2000. He has been a strong advocate for the development of innovation & technology in Hong Kong, covering a wide array of issues including fintech, smart city, tech talent development, supports to start-ups, STEM education, open data, regulatory reforms, Internet freedom, and in-formation privacy and security.

Dan Wong is an expert in the fields of digital transformation and product innovation – with over 20 years of experience in Greater China and Silicon Valley. Dan is currently GM of Global Innovation at MTR Corporation, where he and his team are tasked with building new businesses and enhancing the core business with technology and partnerships. MTR is one of the most respected transport operators in the world, with operations in Stockholm, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau, and of course Hong Kong. James Law is the architect of the world renowned OPod Concrete Tube Housing Project designed to alleviate affordability problems for mass housing; architect for The Pad Tower - the world's first Apple iPod inspired building in Dubai; and the architect for the futuristic high speed transportation system called The Hyperloop. James also collaborated with renowned film director Wong Kar Wai on the design of the movie 2046.

Alan Hau is the Head of Program Management at OneDegree Hong Kong Limited. He is the technical lead who oversees projects in-house to optimize insurance operations using data and analysis and external products to drive customer acquisition. Having worked in small and large teams with over a decade of experience in financial services and startups, Alan has held key roles across the lifecycle of various software products including ideation, engineering, deployment, and maintenance.

Mr. Alan Wong is currently the Asia Pacific Regional Vice President for AnyDesk Software, a leading Remote Desktop Software company Headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. Albert Law is the Head Of Solution Architecture at Red Hat in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Leading the solution architecture team at Red Hat, Albert along with his team help customers and partners realize the power of transformative enterprise open source solutions including cloud enablement, automation, DevOps, and application modernization.

Albert has been with Red Hat for close to 12 years joining the company as the only solution architect based in Hong Kong. Since then, he has played an important role in building up and expanding the Red Hat technical team, as well as building up the partner ecosystem.

Albert has two decades of experience in specializing in IT infrastructure and cloud-related solutions, information availability, security and hybrid-cloud offerings. Prior to Red Hat he has worked with companies including Symantec and Compaq.

Dr Albert Lam received his BEng degree (First Class Honors) in Information Engineering and his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), both from The University of Hong Kong (HKU), in 2005 and 2010, respectively. He was a postdoctoral scholar at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences of University of California, Berkeley. He is now the Chief Technology Officer and the Chief Scientist at Fano Labs, a deep-tech startup specializing in speech and language technologies enabled by AI. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in both EEE and Geography at HKU, and a Croucher research fellow. He is a member in the Expert Committee of Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association and a Senior Member of IEEE. His research interests include optimization, AI, intelligent transportation system, and smart city. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems.

Alex Ypsilanti spearheads Quantifeed’s mission to solve the challenges of digital wealth management.

Before co-founding Quantifeed, he spent fifteen years as an investment banking research analyst. His work enabled investors to improve their risk-adjusted returns and to gain access to a wider range of market strategies and risk premia. Alex, a top ranked analyst by Institutional Investor, had a leading role in the growth of the European ETF market, hedge fund replication and the use of volatility products in portfolios.

A former managing director for Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Alex has built and led teams of derivatives and quantitative strategists in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Andrew Otremba is a consulting manager at fifty-five Hong Kong office with years of experience in data strategy, data analysis and omnichannel activation. Andrew engages with enterprise clients on the design, strategy and execution of bespoke and future-proof digital strategies inline with business needs and objectives. Andrew graduates from the University of Nottingham, with a strong background in engineering and business consultation. CITI BANK
Andrew acted as Technical Consultant in support of the JLL Transactions team in Sydney, Australia to run a colocation Data Centre site selection and RFP process for Citi. Assisting the bank for the relocation of their secondary Data Centre. Andrew technically reviewed the vendor responses, noting their compliance to the Citi technical requirements and advised on areas of non-compliance working with the Citi Corporate Real Estate and IT teams regionally.

PRINCETON DIGITAL GROUP (PDG)
Andrew acted as Project Director for two Technical Due Diligence studies for PDG for site selection and ‘build to suit’ powered shells by local land-owning developers
with PDG undertaking their own fit out. One site is in Saitama, Japan, 120MW, and the second in Incheon, South Korea, 80MW. Andrew led a JLL Technical Due Diligence team made up of local and regional JLL colleagues from Project & Development Services, IFM, Leasing and Capital Markets. The scope included a review of the site characteristics and surrounding environment risks, peer review of the Concept Design, review of the contractual negotiations with Japanese and Korean power utilities, construction cost benchmarking, project programming, review of the legal documents appertaining to construction matters and budgetary estimates for the lifecycle Facilities Management costs.

MICROSOFT
Acting as Project Director Andrew led a JLL Indonesia team to oversee the design management for three 10MW Data Centre’s in metropolitan Jakarta. The client team was APAC regional, and US based and the Design Team APAC regional. The target design phase from zero to 90% design as satisfactorily achieved within the 12-week programme.

HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB
Andrew is the Technology Project Management Lead for the two new build Data Centre’s at the Shatin Racecourse, New Territories, Hong Kong. Andrew has been constantly involved in this project for nine years since its strategic inception with the project due to complete in April 2023.

Prior Experience
Before joining JLL, Andrew was the Managing Director of PTS Consulting with total responsibility for all the firm’s business in APAC, including HK, China, Singapore, Japan, Philippines, and Australia with 150 full time staff. This included full responsibility for the financial performance of the business and P&L accountability

Andrew is the Managing Director at Appnovation, responsible for the Hong Kong
operation. Since joining in 2018, he has led the team in multiple digital transformation
and technology consultation for large enterprises, as well as establishing Appnovation
as strong contender in the digital consulting space.

Andrew has over a decade of experience in taking a lean, agile approach to management consultation, IT strategy, business operations, project management, business analysis, cloud strategies and process improvement.
